Handwriting Practice

September 11, 2008

OK, I know what you are thinking. Dogs don’t have opposable thumbs and so they can’t hold a pen. But, kids do and they need to practice their math and their handwriting skills. In order to save trees, a cause close to my heart, I recommend practicing using a C-Line Reusable Dry Erase Pocket. These pockets let you slip a sheet of paper inside and then use a dry erase marker to practice. Then simply wipe it clean and start again.

C-Line provides free, downloadable templates for use with the Dry Erase Pockets. Available worksheet templates include Math Practice Sets, “To Do” Lists, Alphabet, Handwriting Lines and even a Music Staff to practice writing music. They are great for the classroom, too. Teachers love them because they save resources and time – a single template can be used over and over again.
